Firefox works but not IE 7?

I can only use Firefox to log but I need to enable internet Explorer so I can update my virus scanners. Does anybody know how to re enable IE7?

Just start up IE in your start menu.
download it from microsoft.com, and install it
If you mean that Firefox is now the default browser and you want IE7 to be then this process should work.

1. Open IE7

2. Select Tools %26gt; Internet Options

3. Select the "Programs" tab

There's a section there labelled "Default web browser" which should be currently unticked. Tick this box, come out of the options window and then close IE7, the next time you open it up it will ask you if you want IE to be your default browser.

It's odd that you need Internet Explorer to update your virus scanner though, if it's just that the site wont work in Firefox another option would be that when the site has opened in Firefox copy the web address, open IE7 and then paste the web address into it's address bar, this way you wont have to mess around with your settings.
