Both are good , it depends what you like and get used to it. IE 7 is better , I like it.

I run Linux and firefox is pretty much the standard browser, even when I used M$ I still used firefox I just like it better.
Firefox is more secure and safe to use.

Better pop-up blocker and more plug-in that can be really usefull.

About the loading time, its almost the same between both so you don't really need to worry about that.

you will see that IE is faster than firefox but let me know you that there are several add-ons for firefox available on net like addblocks which block all adds visual on your web page whenever you open that page.... it increases the speed of firefox smashingly... there are more such add-ons which do the different work but increases the speed of firefox... and also there size is too low and easy to download...

Install firefox 2. select Tools%26gt;Extensions. Click on Get More Extensions. Choose Adblock Plus. Then open the page of yahoo on both IE and firefox... u'll see the difference.. there in the firefox u wont see a single ad..

your browser suddenly can do a whole lot of things u didnt imagine it could. its impossible for me to list all of them

being open source , millions of programmers worldwide can correct firefox's bugs, but for IE, only Microsoft can do that.. so less no of browser crashes.

One defect of firefox I have found is that it is pretty slow when downloading Pdfs. but after i installed flashgot, its pretty ok.

I have used both browsers, IE and Firefox. When I newly had my system set up, I had IE. It worked well for a while, then suddenly out of nowhere this problem occured. The websites supporting Java script were not displayed properly, I even had problems with YouTube. I couldn't view the videos anymore. So I put my problem to Yahoo! Answers and someone suggested to install Firefox. Uptill now, I have no problem accessing the net. So I'll say, Firefox is the best!
IE 7 is the best, it has pop up blocker, phising filter and much more and is updated regularly by microsoft for any critical flaws. This latest IE 7 is more secure then Firefox
IE is the best because some of the web sites we cannot open in fire fox.

Firefox for sure. Dunt knw why but webpages load a l'll faster in firefox..
Both are good, infact they serve the basic purpose of browsing the internet

But i personally feel Firefox is better then IE since it loads the web page fast. On the other hand some site don't function properly in Firefox

use Firefox instead of IE to protect from attacks. fire fox is open soure does less attacks than IE. After all underworld has it own rule
definitely Firefox is much better browser than IE. It is more secure and got a large numbers of add-ons and some great themes. it also got much better surfing speed than IE
internet explorer d best but if you open may explorers it will get cluttered so firefox is better over there you can open tabs which saves a lot of space
