I've looked in the control panel. Did I miss something?

control panel, add remove programs, uninstall it. then from you XP CD add it. Or download it again with the updates

Upgrade to IE7 beta. If you have trouble getting to the site, download Firefox setup file from another computer and copy to it using an USB flob.
Go to your control panel and change component I believe and look down the list for IE and see it list repair as an option there.

If that does not work just download from Microsoft.com

Click CONTROL PANEL-click ADD/REMOVE PROGRAM,click ADD/REMOVE WINDOW COMPONENTS, check INTERNET EXPLORER then click ADD
