I have recently downloaded IE 7 and have noticed that the SSL padlock has gone?

I always relied on this when I logged into perhaps my bank account online or paypal etc, has this gone or is it hidden?

It should be in your address bar on the right hand side.
Without putting any details in ( account numbers and such ) visit the web site involved.

Then when you do sign in you should see the padlock icon appear.
It appears (and disapears) to the right of that ridiculously huge, un-resizable, take-it-or-leave-it, in-the-wrong-place, Address Bar.
It is now at top instead of bottom - see the "address bar" at top where the "http:// w w w - something" %26lt;--- to the right of that.
