The top pane of IE says "Internet Explorer Provided by Cox High Speed Internet" - how do i

Go to run type regedit.

Hit F3 and search for Cox

Delete the words tha bother you.

DO NOT DELETE ANYTHING ELSE.

The top pane of IE says "Internet Explorer Provided by Cox High Speed Internet" - how do i get rid of that?default browser

This involves some registry changes.. if you don't know how to do it, don't do it.

1) Open up the Registry Editor

2) Go to HKEY_LOCAL\MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\In... Explorer\Main

3) Edit the "Window Title" key

You may also need to do this in HKEY_CURRENT_USER
