YAHOO AWARDS CENTER. claims i won 820,000.00 pounds, in UK and i have to go to London to pick it up in person or pay their lawyer a fee for some sort of document to receive it here in the USA. It was in my inbox.

Unscrupulous thieves have sent you this email and they are trying to part you from your hard earned cash. They will often ask you to call a premium rate number and keep you holding on whilst you rack up a huge phone bill. They are then paid a large proportion of this phone bill. They may ask you to divulge personal information about yourself or ask for your bank or credit card details. Do not divulge any such information under any circumstances. It is surprising how many innocent victims have been duped by these types of emails. Just remember the thieves who send them are very clever and extremely convincing. I suggest you delete the email and send it into cyberspace, hopefully along with the thieving scumbags who send them.

Yes, that is a scam; and a very terrible and poorly thought out one I might add.

So, yes it is a scam. I had one few millions before, but they wanted my Credit Card to charge and "transfer" the fund in my account!

If you go to London they will Kidnapp your ______!
its a scam!! U shouldn't even bother to have opened it!!! They had a special on this on t.v around last year, it was really informative,and the phony e-mails say that kind of stuff and sometimes dumb stories like, oh, i need to help my family and this and that to trick ppl.

But Its all a scam and well worth deleting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...
