Trojan downloader removed my IE how do I fix this I do not have the windows install cd.?

Can not get online to download a fix but have another pc in house on broadband. Any free ideas would be much appreciated!

Using your Broadband pc, go to Microsoft.com and download Windows, but use 'save to disc'. From there, you should be able to burn it to CD for use in your other pc.

Failing that as an option, you can use their Support hotline number to order a CD.

P.S; Have you tried System Restore?

Download windows, it a free download.
First of all remove the Trojan, You could use AVG Free Edition that you could download from http://www.grisoft.com/

or try windows Defender on http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/detai...

After you remove the trojan then....

Go to Start ==%26gt; Settings ==%26gt; Control Panel ==%26gt; Add or Remove Programs

On the left side click on Add/Remove Windows Components

When the window comes out select (check) Internet Explorer and then click next and that should take care of it.

If it is already checked then uncheck it and click next. Then follow the instructions again and check it and click next. That should install it again.
