It may be that it is down temporarily. If that's not it, try accessing another site to see if you have a problem with your network.
That's why I never use IE anymore. It just sucks like that. You need to switch to Firefox. Much easier to use, and it doesn't crash all the time.
I do not believe it had anything to do with Yahoo!.

To test that theory then go to another PC and see if you can access your account there. If you can access your account that means it has something to do with your IE browser. Try deleting your cookies. It is quite hard to tell what your problem is when you have not posted the exact error that is displayed on the screen.
